Stephanie Chizoba Odili is a London-born Nigerian writer. She is the author of three books: Deafening Silence, her debut novel which won the 2019 1st runner up of the Association of Nigerian Authors Prize For Prose Fiction; 22, a collection of poems and short stories; and The Lean Wedding: How To Get Married With As Low As N100,000, a non-fiction finance book for young fiancées starting out in Nigeria. Her debut children’s story, ‘Tea Time With Tito’, won second place at the 2021 Wakini Kuria Prize for Children’s Literature. She is currently working on a new book—a collection of short stories.
Stephanie’s non-fiction work has appeared in numerous publications such as: Opera News, The Consent Workshop, Business Insider SSA, Zikoko, Genevieve Magazine, Eat Drink Lagos, Top Medium Publications and many more. When not writing or teaching English, she’s watching crime documentaries, listening to a sermon or reading a good book.
