Saba Ajmal is an academic, researcher and practitioner in literary and culture studies, with more than 10 years of professional experience. She is currently affiliated to one of the oldest universities – UET, Lahore, Pakistan. Her work has been read at various conferences and forums in the UK, Turkey, France, Germany and Pakistan. Creative writing and interdisciplinary intersections of literature, environmental humanities and cognitive sciences are her fields of interest and expertise. She is particularly interested in exploring the act of crossing borders, whether linguistic, territorial, psychological, cultural or epistemological.
