Nariman Youssef

Nariman Youssef is a semi-freelance multilingual translator working primarily between Arabic and English. Literary translations include Inaam Kachachi’s The American Granddaughter, Donia Kamal’s Cigarette No. 7, contributions in Words Without Borders, The Common, Banipal magazine, and the poetry anthologies Beirut39 and The Hundred Years’ War. Nariman holds master’s degrees in Cultural & Critical Studies (Birkbeck) and Translation Studies (Edinburgh), and is currently Translation Manager for an archives digitisation project at the British Library.
