Jacob Garrett is a writer from Melbourne, Australia. He is quite new to publication, having recently co-authored a paper on our pressing moral need in the light of Climate Change to reclaim lives of material sufficiency, rather than unsustainable affluence (published in two forms: first as “The Moral and Ethical Weight of Voluntary Simplicity: A philosophical review” in 2017 for the Simplicity Institute, and later in a modified form as “Voluntary Simplicity Strongly Backed by All Three Normative-Ethical Traditions” in 2018 for Ethical Perspectives).

Aside from the academy, Jacob’s writing interests currently centre on poetry and creative non-fiction, but until now none of this work has ever been submitted for publication.
