Erato Ioannou

Erato Ioannou is a novelist and short story writer. Her work has been published in anthologies and literary journals internationally. Her short story ‘Something Tiny’ was featured in So Many Islands Anthology and, most recently, ‘Deserted’ was shortlisted for the 2019 Commonwealth Short Story Prize. She is the author of Cats Have it All, a collection of short stories, and she is currently seeking representation for her novel MUERTA. Erato studied English Language and Literature at the University of Cyprus, and has an MFA in Creative Writing from UNC Wilmington. She is the associate editor of In Focus literary magazine.
