Jonathan Pizarro is a Gibraltarian writer living in London. He studied Creative Writing at Brunel University, where he was mentored by Bernardine Evaristo. His short fiction has featured in Popshot, Litro, & Untitled: Voices, amongst others. He writes ‘Chasing Nelson’, an arts & culture column for the Gibraltar Chronicle. His short story ‘Luz in Nueva York (1992)’ was shortlisted for the 2021 Aurora Prize, and he was also nominated for a Pushcart Prize. He is working on his first novel.
