Selina Tusitala Marsh

Selina Tusitala Marsh is a poet, author, and academic from Aotearoa New Zealand. Of Samoan, Tuvaluan, English, Scottish, and French descent, she brings her diverse heritage to the page and stage. A former New Zealand Poet Laureate, she lectures at the University of Auckland and co-directs the Centre for Arts and Social Transformation. She is the author of three poetry collections and the award-winning Mophead graphic memoir series. In 2025, she began a two-year term as the inaugural Commonwealth Poet Laureate.
