Baka Barakove Bina, or Baka Bina, is 60 years old and works at the Waigani National Court in the capital city of Port Moresby as a Registry Clerk. He has submitted to the Commonwealth Short Story Prize a few times and was shortlisted for the first time in 2022. He translated ‘What Happened to Mama?’ from Tok Pisin to English.
